“E Pluribus Unum” was the motto proposed for the first Great Seal of the United States by John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson in 1776. A latin phrase meaning “out of many,” (states of colonies), one (nation), the phrase offered a strong statement of the American determination to form a single nation from a collection of states. This nation was built on the principles of unity and pride for country. We need this understanding now more than we ever had in our lifetime.
This design was so popular we had to offer it in two colors.
