Deputy Adam Sherifi
The Deputy Adam Sherifi Memorial Fundraiser Shirt was created to honor the life, service, and ultimate sacrifice of a dedicated law enforcement officer with the Van Zandt County Sheriff’s Office, whose End of Watch was Tuesday, October 20, 2026. Created with input from his friends and fellow law enforcement officers, this memorial design serves as a lasting tribute to a fallen deputy, devoted husband, loving father, and hero who made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting his community.
On October 20, 2026, Deputy Sherifi was assisting officers with the Canton Police Department in serving outstanding felony warrants for aggravated assault on a peace officer. During the operation, gunfire erupted toward officers positioned outside, resulting in an exchange of gunfire. Tragically, Deputy Sherifi was mortally wounded and passed away at the scene while carrying out his sworn duty to protect and serve.
His courage, dedication, and commitment to his community will never be forgotten. Behind the badge was a husband, a father, a friend, and a loved one whose loss extends far beyond the law enforcement community.
Deputy Sherifi leaves behind his beloved wife and three children, who now face life without their husband and father. As his family, fellow deputies, friends, and community mourn this devastating loss, we invite everyone to come together in honoring his memory and supporting those he loved most.
100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated directly to the Sherifi family through the Relentless Defender Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations made through the Foundation are tax deductible.
