Deputy Elijah Ming
Relentless Defender is honored to release this pre-order fundraiser design in memory of Deputy Elijah Ming, who was tragically killed in the line of duty while courageously responding to a domestic situation on July 26, 2025. This fundraiser was created in collaboration with his family and department to honor his service and support the loved ones he leaves behind.
Deputy Ming and a Kansas City Kansas Police Department officer were dispatched to a civil standby to assist a woman moving out of a home after being threatened by an armed man. As they arrived at the residence, the suspect opened fire, striking Deputy Ming. A standoff followed as additional officers responded, and after exchanging gunfire and a prolonged barricade, the suspect was eventually taken into custody.
Deputy Ming was rushed to the hospital but tragically succumbed to his injuries that evening. A respected member of the Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Department for nine years, he was known for his dedication, professionalism, and unwavering courage. He is survived by his wife and young son.
This shirt was designed with heartfelt input from his family and coworkers to honor his sacrifice and legacy. 100% of the proceeds from this design will be donated directly to his family through the Relentless Defender Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax deductible and go toward providing meaningful support during this incredibly difficult time.
This is a pre-order fundraiser that will close on August 18, with all orders shipping beginning August 19, 2025. Once closed, this tribute will not be re-released.
Wearing this shirt is a way to honor Deputy Ming’s memory and show support for those left behind. It represents not only the cost of service but the strength of a community that never forgets its heroes.
HONOR THE FALLEN. SUPPORT THEIR FAMILY. NEVER FORGET.
Pre-order now and stand with us in remembering the life and legacy of Deputy Elijah Ming.
