Dispatch – Not Everyone Can Do It
Dispatcher jobs can be difficult due to the nature of the work. Dispatchers are responsible for answering emergency calls, gathering information from callers, and coordinating the response of police officers to the scene. They may also receive non-emergency calls and requests for service.
The work of a police dispatcher requires a high level of multitasking, as they must prioritize calls, dispatch officers to different locations, and keep track of multiple situations at once. They must also be able to communicate effectively and clearly with callers, officers, and other agencies, often in high-pressure situations.
In addition to the challenges of the job itself, dispatchers may also experience high levels of stress and emotional strain due to the nature of the calls they handle. They may be required to deal with emergencies, such as violent crimes or accidents, and must be able to remain calm and composed under pressure.
The Relentless Defender Dispatch Collection has designs like The Voice, Open 24 Hours, Lifeline, Nineoneone, Gold Line Flag, NCIC, and more. As first responders ourselves we make sure our designs are not some cheesy designs you find everywhere else. Check our our dedicated video honoring dispatchers.
