This fundraiser design is being sold to raise funds that will be donated to the wife and three children of Fallen Brother, Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy, Sandeep Dhaliwal. He was shot and killed while conducting a traffic stop on September 27, 2019. Deputy Dhaliwal was well known for his involvement in the community and his gentle soul. The design itself has meaning distinct to Deputy Dhaliwal; the word Singh means lion in Sanskrit, which is also the symbol at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Wall. (The name is used as a surname to represent males and has been adopted as a title by some warriors in India.) The Khanda is a symbol of the Sikh faith and is an amalgam of three symbols: a double-edged khanda in the center, a chakkar two-edged swords, or kirpan, crossed at the bottom, which sit on either side of the khanda and chakar. Finally, the colors in the design are those of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office uniform, which he so proudly wore.

100% of the proceeds from this shirt will be donated to the Relentless Defender Foundation who have pledged to donate 100% to Deputy Dhaliwal’s Family.
