LT was more than just a cop. He was a great man to many and a cornerstone to the Humanizing the Badge organization. When our words fall short in times like these, we remember him by looking to his own. With us, his memory and his voice live on forever. The design features the words of Stephen Williams; a handwritten letter to a young aspiring police officer. “You can not save the world. But you can help one person at a time.”
Stephen Williams was shot and killed while responding to a call for service. While on scene at least one suspect opened fire on him, fatally wounding him. Two subjects were taken into custody several hours later after barricading themselves inside a hotel room. Williams is survived by his wife and three children.
