Officer David Faust

The official Officer David Faust Fundraiser Shirt was created by Relentless Defender to stand beside Houston METRO Police Officer David Faust as he courageously battles a rare form of cancer. Created with input from those who know and serve alongside him, this design represents David’s strength, resilience, and unwavering commitment to his family, his fellow officers, and the community he has faithfully protected.

Officer David Faust has proudly served with the Houston METRO Police Department for nearly 5 years, earning the respect of his coworkers and supervisors through his character. Those who know David describe him as a true warrior, someone who continued showing up every day, giving his all, even while quietly facing one of the greatest challenges of his life.

In November 2025, David was diagnosed with a rare form of sarcoma after doctors discovered a tumor in his upper abdomen. Although his initial treatment showed encouraging progress, his medical team has determined that a different course of treatment was necessary. Today, David continues his fight through ongoing chemotherapy, meeting each setback with the courage.

David’s battle extends beyond his own health. Him and his fiancé are raising three young daughters, all under the age of nine. Their youngest daughter is also facing significant medical challenges, having recently undergone a bone marrow transplant. Despite the tremendous emotional and financial weight these circumstances have placed on their family, David continues to fight for those he loves with unwavering strength.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated directly to Officer Faust through the Relentless Defender Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, making all donations tax deductible.
