Trooper Sergio Romero Memorial Band
Honor the life, service, and sacrifice of Trooper Sergio Romero with this meaningful fundraiser design created to support his family and preserve the legacy of a young law enforcement officer who dedicated his life to protecting the citizens of Texas.
Trooper Sergio Romero proudly served as a Texas Highway Patrol Trooper after graduating from the Texas Department of Public Safety Academy in 2025. Prior to joining the Highway Patrol, he served his community as a deputy with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office. Known for his dedication to public service, strong work ethic, and commitment to protecting others, Sergio represented the very best of Texas law enforcement. Above all else, he was a devoted husband and loving father who cherished every moment spent with his wife and two young sons.
On June 17, 2026, Trooper Romero made the ultimate sacrifice while serving the people of Texas. The 27-year-old trooper was killed in the line of duty when a semi-truck pulled in front of his patrol vehicle during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 287 near Childress, Texas. Despite his young age, Trooper Romero had already established a legacy of service, professionalism, and dedication that left a lasting impact on fellow law enforcement officers, friends, family members, and the communities he proudly served.
This fundraiser gives supporters across the nation the opportunity to honor Trooper Romero’s memory while providing direct assistance to the family he loved so deeply. Every shirt purchased helps support his wife and two young sons during this unimaginable time of loss while ensuring that Sergio’s sacrifice and service are never forgotten.
100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated directly to Trooper Romero’s family through the Relentless Defender Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, making all donations tax deductible.
This is a pre-order fundraiser ending on July 3, 2026, with orders beginning to ship on July 4, 2026. Your purchase helps preserve the legacy of a dedicated Texas Highway Patrol Trooper, loving husband, proud father, and public servant whose sacrifice will forever be remembered and honored by those he served.
