Officer Toalua Charlie Aumua
Relentless Defender is honored to release this pre-order fundraiser design in memory of Officer Toalua Charlie Aumua, a beloved public servant who tragically passed away on August 1, 2025, in Belton, Texas. After completing a SWAT operation serving a search warrant, Charlie was enjoying time with his family at the lake when he tragically drowned. His sudden loss has left a deep void in his department, his community, and most of all, his family.
At the request of friends and with design input from his fellow officers, this tribute was created to reflect Charlie’s life, legacy, and passion for service. The design includes elements that were meaningful to him, representing both his personal journey and professional accomplishments.
Charlie began his law enforcement career with the Bellmead Police Department in 2019 and later joined the Temple Police Department in 2020, fulfilling a dream he held since childhood. While serving with TPD, he worked day shift patrol, served as a field trainer, and was a respected member of the Temple SWAT team.
His dedication did not go unnoticed. Charlie was named Recruit Officer of the Year in 2021, earned Temple Police Officer of the Year in 2023, and was recognized with two life-saving awards in that same year. He was not only a skilled and courageous officer but a deeply compassionate human being who gave everything to his role, both on and off duty.
100% of the proceeds from this shirt will be donated directly to Officer Aumua’s family through the Relentless Defender Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax deductible and will help support his loved ones as they navigate life without him.
This is a pre-order fundraiser closing on October 6, with all orders shipping beginning October 7, 2025. Once this campaign ends, the design will be retired.
HONOR HIS LIFE. SUPPORT HIS FAMILY. NEVER FORGET.
Pre-order now and help us remember and celebrate the legacy of Officer Toalua Charlie Aumua.
