Relentless Defender is honored to release this exclusive fundraiser design in support of Sgt. Richard Garcia, a respected veteran of the La Marque Police Department who is courageously battling an aggressive form of colon cancer that has spread to his spine and other parts of his body.
For over 20 years, Sgt. Garcia has dedicated his life to protecting and serving the citizens of La Marque. Following in the blue footsteps of his Father and Uncle, he joined the department in 2004, quickly earning a reputation for his integrity, leadership, and unwavering dedication to his fellow officers. As the Department’s firearms instructor and a trusted mentor, he has guided countless officers, leading with compassion, strength, and the heart of a true public servant.
This design was created with input from Sgt. Garcia’s Partners at the La Marque Police Department, incorporating elements that celebrate his legacy and life. The artwork includes his Department Patch, Badge number and his love for the Houston Astros, both symbolic of his pride in his profession and his roots in the community he serves.
Beyond the uniform, Richard is a devoted husband and father. He and his Wife, a fellow officer, are raising a beautiful family together with their newborn and three Children who look up to him as their hero.
All proceeds from this design will be donated directly to Sgt. Garcia and his family through the Relentless Defender Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Every donation is tax-deductible, and Relentless Defender Foundation will proudly match up to $5,000 of funds raised to further support this cause.
